Positronic websites do not offer information intended to attract children. Positronic does not knowingly solicit personal data from children under the age of 13.

Lawful Basis for Users in the EU

The Lawful Basis for collecting personal information from individuals in the EU is necessary for our Legitimate Interests in:

How Long We Keep Personal Information

We keep data for analytics, product improvement, and legal purposes indefinitely with the following exceptions.

  • You may opt-out of ongoing marketing communications by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of email communications or visiting www.connectpositronic.com/unsubscribe and following the instructions.
  • We keep usage data for analytics and website improvement purposes indefinitely because historical usage data is always relevant to the development of our websites. Please consult the policies of our third-party analytics and tracking providers in our “Cookies and other Tracking Technologies” section or their retention and erasure policies.
  • We retain testimonials until withdrawn on your request (where we are legally required to remove or otherwise choose to remove).
  • We retain your community forum-posted content until withdrawn at your request (where we are legally required to remove or otherwise choose to remove).
  • We retain your username and password until you request deactivation of your account (or until we are legally required to otherwise choose to deactivate your account).
  • We retain billing information for the duration of our contract with our customers and thereafter for legal and audit purposes. You may request removal of your contact information by letting us know at [email protected].
  • We retain contact information for the duration of our contract with our contractors, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors and thereafter as an inactive account. You may request removal of your contact information by letting us know at [email protected]. Information in support cases may be retained indefinitely because historical data regarding customer issues is always relevant to the development of our products and services.

Information We Share

We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal information we collect about you, except as described in this Online Privacy Notice. We may share personal information with service providers who perform services on our behalf based on our instructions. We may share certain personal information with our affiliates for the purposes described in this Online Privacy Notice.

In addition, we may disclose information about you (i) if we are required to do so by law or legal process, (ii) to law enforcement authorities or other government entities, and (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual espionage, cybersecurity or security events or other fraudulent or illegal activity.
